A passport is an official travel document issued by the government of a country to its citizens for the purpose of traveling abroad. Passports play an important role in identifying the identity of the holder and granting official permission for the holder to enter and exit other countries. It also serves as proof of citizenship, and as such, passport holders will be protected by their country beyond its national borders.

When traveling abroad, it is important to always ensure that your passport is valid with sufficient validity and follows the visa or entry permit requirements of the country you are visiting.
